Do you have multiple sclerosis (MS)? Have you been diagnosed within the last 5 years?
Curtin University researchers are seeking input and feedback from individuals interested in joining two half-day workshops to help shape the development of a nutrition education program for people with MS.
Curtin researchers are looking for 8 consumers who reside in Australia to take part in two half-day workshops, to help them develop an evidence-based online nutrition education program for people with MS.
About the project/vacancy
Curtin researchers are looking to develop an online nutrition education program for people with MS that has been co-designed with people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and MS health professionals.
We know that nutrition education has the potential to improve the health, wellbeing, and sense of control in people with MS, but there has been very little research done in this area.
There is lots of information online about diets for MS, but it’s not always based on current evidence and it can be confusing to work out what is reliable information. Currently, there are no nutrition education programs being run by MS organisations in Australia.
