Anaesthesia and Pain Management in Young People Community Conversation
Date: 29 October 2020 @ 05:30 PM - 07:30 PM
Perth Children’s Hospital are calling on young people aged 12-17 to have their say about anaesthesia and pain management research in an online community conversation.
Researchers would like to talk to young people who have had surgery before and want to share their experience. Their aim is to gain insight from young people about their experience with anaesthesia and pain management. This will then be used to inform anaesthesia and pain management research.
In the past, they have only received feedback from parents, but researchers really want to hear directly from kids and find out what is important to them when they come into hospital. They hope to better understand how they can make the hospital experience nicer and safer for all children.
Children aged 12-17 who have had surgery under general anaesthesia. This is an online event and a $35 honorarium payment is offered to those who attend.
